Hi, we're Jordan and Chloe.
Funny enough, neither of us actually studied photography. Jordan studied Biotechnology. Chloe studied International Business. So technically, one of us has a slightly more believable excuse for ending up here. ๐
We didn't start as Weddings by En. either. Our story started at HTWC Photography, where we were recruited by Hadri, Jordan's lecturer and what we'd probably describe as our Papa Bear. We started out as shooters, slowly took on more responsibilities, and eventually found ourselves managing HTWC as a whole while Hadri worked his way through his PhD.
Somewhere along the way, Hadri encouraged us to start something of our own. Not because HTWC wasn't enough, but because he wanted us to have the space to develop our own style, figure out what we believed in, and learn how we wanted to run a business. So we did.
We started as Moments by Clicks. Yes, we know. Cringe name. ๐ We still like the orange though. The name... not so much.
After about a year of figuring things out, experimenting, getting things wrong, and slowly understanding what we actually wanted to create, Moments by Clicks evolved into what you now know as Weddings by En. And honestly, that's when things started to bloom.
We don't really see this as a transaction. A lot of wedding photography can feel like: "I'm available. Here's my price. If you wanna book, you book." And that's perfectly fine for some people. It's just not really how we want to do things.
We'd rather know your story before you book us. We'd rather sit down over coffee/tea/kombucha, hear about your people, your plans, your weird little traditions, what you're excited about, what you're nervous about, and everything in between. Because, as we always say: Booking before meeting is like saying "I do" before "hello."
And yes, we also believe...

And yes, we also believe the client gets to choose their photographer. But we think the photographer gets to choose their couples too. Not because of ego or pride. It's because we genuinely believe that the relationship between you and the people behind the camera matters.
Beautiful photographs aren't just about having a good camera, knowing how to edit, or getting the perfect composition. They're also about being present. About feeling comfortable enough to forget the camera is there. About laughing without forcing it. About crying without worrying how you look. About your family being themselves. About us knowing when to step in and when to quietly disappear into the background.
We don't need to become your best friends. But we'd like to know each other well enough that when your wedding day comes, it doesn't feel like two strangers showed up with cameras.
We're not trying to be the "best photographers". Honestly, we didn't come from creative backgrounds. And we don't think we're ever going to be the photographers for everyone. There are people out there creating incredible, Vogue-worthy images, and if that's exactly what you're looking for, we might not be your people. And that's okay.
What we do care deeply about is documenting things as they actually felt. The messy hugs. The ugly cries. The uncontrollable laughter. Your dad trying not to cry. Your friends being absolute idiots. The little glances nobody else noticed. The things that might not look perfect on the day, but somehow become the things you miss the most years later.
Because these aren't just photos for us. You guys are the ones who have to carry them into the future.
One day, when the wedding is long over, the flowers are gone, the dress is packed away and life has moved on to whatever comes next, we want you to open that album and feel like you're right back there. Not just remembering what happened. But remembering how it felt.
Life is already stressful enough. If Jordan and I can make your wedding journey a little lighter, a little more enjoyable, and maybe leave you with a few memories that make you smile decades from now, then we're pretty happy with that.
We're not superheroes. We're just two people who believe that small gestures can make a difference. And maybe, for a little while, we get to be part of your story.
And that's Weddings by En.

Every wedding is different, but one thing stays the same.
We approach every celebration as a team. While one of us notices the big emotions, the other catches the quiet details. Together, we're there to preserve your day honestly, naturally, and with intention.
